1999 Thomas Saf T Liner 84 passenger rear engine, Odometer shows about 35,000 miles ACTUAL MILEAGE UNKNOWN. Caterpillar 3126B 250 Turbocharged Diesel Engine with a NEW STARTER, MD3060 5 speed Allison automatic Transmission. !!!!!!! ——————–THE ONLY KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THIS BUS IS IT WILL NOT START FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH, YOU HAVE TO PUSH THE STARTER BUTTON IN THE REAR ENGINE COMPARTMENT TO START ENGINE————————-.!!!!!!!!!!!! Not certain what the problem is with the ignition switch or a safety switch somewhere but that is how you have start it right now, no big deal just walk to rear of bus and push button and it will fire right up. Other than that every thing else works fine. Bus has AIR BRAKES That stop great, no air leaks holds air pressure for several days, Air Ride Suspension, and air operated entry door.Bus has 1 battery that starts it just fine, has some rust in and around the battery compartment. Front tires still have plenty of tread remaining, rear tires still have some tread remaining still within dot spec. Tires are all Goodyear, size is 295/75R22.5 mounted on steel hub pilot wheels. All glass and mirrors are intact with no cracks, all lights and wipers and gages work properly also has a strobe light on roof.The heater control is missing two knobs as seen in pictures. Has tilt/tele steering wheel. Has under body storage compartment. Seats are all good with no rips or tears. Bus was recently retired from local school district, drove bus in about 25 miles, ran and drove great. Top speed is about 65-70 MPH.
