Rare find in 2022, this is a 7.3 Turbo Diesel Mini Bus that just came from the original owner and fleet. Was still being used to haul students last year, with recent state and school bus inspections. It has 250,000 miles which the 7.3 laughs at. It has no blow-by, starts up easy, all the glow plugs are good, no check engine light, the transmission shifts great, the overall maintenance on the bus seems to have been fantastic and I think it’s in really good shape for it’s age. This could be your last chance to buy a 7.3 like this from it’s original fleet that hasn’t been passed through many hands or messed with.
This bus is 9,600lb GVWR, for California buyers this means it is exempt from the California Diesel ban. This should also mean this bus doesn’t require a a CDL for many uses. Obviously no CDL if you convert it to a motorhome. This would be an amazing candidate to do a 4×4 conversion for an overlanding rig I would have liked to done that with it.
