35 foot GMC 1964 model 4106 originally an over-the-road charter bus motorcoach. Converted in about 1990 to a full time living motor home. The coach has 120,000 miles since the conversion and this is the number of miles on the engine and transmission that were rebuilt at the time of conversion. Please note that this coach has an automatic transmission instead of the manual transmission it was built with from the factory. Engine is a Detroit Diesel 8V-71 with Jake Brake. Transmission is an Β Allison V-730 automatic. Hydraulic assist power steering (original with the coach). 12-K generator powered by a Perkins diesel engine. Coach heat and air-conditioning still work fine. Two additional air conditioner systems also. A roof top unit and Cruiseair. Β All work. Additional heat from a Webasto unit (forced air). Kitchen has double sink, microwave, Jenn Air Stove Top, Elec. refrigerator and lots of storage. Bathroom has sink and stool together in own room. Large size shower (for a motorhome) is a separate room. Rear sleeping area is 2 twin beds in a U shape. (We had 3 daughters sleep here). Hanging bunk over one of the twins (son slept here). Front area has a sleeper couch (mom, dad and smallest daughter slept here). Also 2 flip up tables that pull out of wall when needed. Great driver’s seat and “shotgun” seat by entrance door, There is lots of storage space inside and under the coach. It is equipped with 4 Zip awnings. We only used the big one on the right side.
